Gobble Gobble

I know I haven't updated in forever.
I've been consumed with Electron Configuration and MCAT preparation...and Kendra's been hittin the books big time too.

And no, that doesn't mean I've been bummin on my outfits.
You can ask around...the little birdies will agree.

So, now that I've had a bit of extra time on my hands, my aunt and I took pics of each other in our Thanksgiving outfits.
(And she bought me those wonderful Oxfords I'm sporting! Thank you thank you thank you!)

Perfect Company

Today's been a NICE day.
It started off with nice weather.
And then a nice win by the MU boys soccer team.
And then a nice walk to Pier Village...
for a nice dinner consisting of Cali rolls & edamames.
Followed by a nice dessert (frozen bananas & chocolate covered cheesecake).
All in the company of the nicest person alive--Kendra! <3
I couldn't have had a nicer time if it were anyone else!

Btw, this is officially my favorite dress. Something nice always happens whenever I wear it!

Pictures taken at what Kendra & I call the "hobbit house" :)

Fall is in the ayerr!

Today was probably the coldest day since I've been here.
I loved it because I wanted to wear this sweater as soon as I got it... which was on Sunday!
Thanks Mommy!

And by the way, I'd like to thank everyone so much for the positive feedback! I appreciate it so much and inspires me to keep blogging :)

Baby, I'm back, yeahhh

I made a new friend.
Her name's Kendra.
And she's pretty much the coolest person I know.
By the way, she's my new photographer :)

I'm not what I was last September

I may or may not have a girl crush on Shingai Shoniwa. Whenever I'm alone in my room pretending to be a rockstar, this is exactly how I'd imagine I'd be on-stage. The energy she exerts is inspiring, and she's just so talented. But let's state the obvious: I adore her taste in clothes.

So here's my crop top look, which I originally wasn't gonna put up because my sister disapproved as she snapped away.
I'm happy with it though, if you can't tell.

Oh, and did I mention how much I hate my camera and its horrendous picture quality? I wish it was a living, breathing organism sometimes, just so I can strangle it back into a nonliving existence.

Go to Dress

Had a lazy Monday, so I wore my go-to dress for when I don't really feel creative.
I found it at the Marlton Fall Festival for 6 bucks last year, and instantly fell in love with its lightness and simplicity.

* Also, I'm working on a how-to video for the scarf dress! It'll be up before I leave to college.

Apple of My Eyelet

Okay, before I even begin...let me just point out a few things:
1. On the glorious morning of Thursday, August 27, 2009, I was featured in FabSugar's "Look of the Day"! For those of you who don't know, FabSugar is one of my favorite fashion websites that I religiously read! Let's just say that I was the happiest camper of all camps in the world. It was one of the many good things that happened that day, and all of the smiling I did made my face ache!

2. American Apparel is coming to Cherry Hill! I don't know the exact date, but my guess is by next summer! I remember when Urban Outfitters opened back in June, I thought to myself, " The Cherry Hill mall is one step closer to being kickass. All it needs is an American Apparel!" And now, voila! Camden county will soon be graced with the presence of AA! I will totally be applying for a summer job there!

3. I am dangerously addicted to this song.

---------

So it took me forever to think of what to submit for the "Back to School" contest at Weardrobe. My room suffered greatly due to my closet-produced clothing vomit. But I actually came up with the contest entry look on a whim today while looking for an outfit for the day I spent in Philly. The gloomy, non-summery weather reminded me of the fall, so I was instantly inspired. Does this mean even mother nature wants me to win this contest? *Crosses fingers*

Scarf it Down

Stayed home today, packing my clothes up for college.
Having the short attention span of a fly, I got sidetracked and found a way to turn my scarf into a dress :)

Dirty Laundry

Drove all the way to Woodlynne just to wash 4 bags of dirty blankets.

Never Do I Ever...

College student--freshman to be exact.
Biology major.
Part OB/GYN hopeful, part fashion junkie.
So they say that the college workload can result in a consequential loss of style sense, plagued by baggy sweatshirts and pajama pants.
But never do I ever want that to happen to me.
Never do I ever want to surrender the fashion goober within.

Today I had a childhood friend's Sweet 16 to go to.
That's when I thought, 'Why not start my record of outfits now?!'
*Deep breath* here it goes...
