Apple of My Eyelet

Okay, before I even begin...let me just point out a few things:
1. On the glorious morning of Thursday, August 27, 2009, I was featured in FabSugar's "Look of the Day"! For those of you who don't know, FabSugar is one of my favorite fashion websites that I religiously read! Let's just say that I was the happiest camper of all camps in the world. It was one of the many good things that happened that day, and all of the smiling I did made my face ache!

2. American Apparel is coming to Cherry Hill! I don't know the exact date, but my guess is by next summer! I remember when Urban Outfitters opened back in June, I thought to myself, " The Cherry Hill mall is one step closer to being kickass. All it needs is an American Apparel!" And now, voila! Camden county will soon be graced with the presence of AA! I will totally be applying for a summer job there!

3. I am dangerously addicted to this song.

So it took me forever to think of what to submit for the "Back to School" contest at Weardrobe. My room suffered greatly due to my closet-produced clothing vomit. But I actually came up with the contest entry look on a whim today while looking for an outfit for the day I spent in Philly. The gloomy, non-summery weather reminded me of the fall, so I was instantly inspired. Does this mean even mother nature wants me to win this contest? *Crosses fingers*

Scarf it Down

Stayed home today, packing my clothes up for college.
Having the short attention span of a fly, I got sidetracked and found a way to turn my scarf into a dress :)

Dirty Laundry

Drove all the way to Woodlynne just to wash 4 bags of dirty blankets.

Never Do I Ever...

College student--freshman to be exact.
Biology major.
Part OB/GYN hopeful, part fashion junkie.
So they say that the college workload can result in a consequential loss of style sense, plagued by baggy sweatshirts and pajama pants.
But never do I ever want that to happen to me.
Never do I ever want to surrender the fashion goober within.

Today I had a childhood friend's Sweet 16 to go to.
That's when I thought, 'Why not start my record of outfits now?!'
*Deep breath* here it goes...
